Grape/blend: 61% Pinot Noir, 39% Chardonnay.

Type soil: marl soil,rich in clays and silt.

Colour: light and bright yellow, fine and numerous bubbles.

Bouquet: An explosion of delicate fragrances on the nose, expressing the density of Pinot Noir through small red and yellow fruit notes, carried by the harmonious freshness of Chardonnay. The roundness and smoothness on the palate echoes with the intensity of generous flavours found on the nose.

Tasting notes: Fine bubbles add a touch of elegant freshness, yielding a long, taut finish.

Serving suggestions: At cocktail hour, with finger food or with a dinner focusing on champagne. Serving 8° - 10°C.

Editor's note: It is a house of winemakers, Chassenay d’Arce, a champagne-making cooperative founded in 1956 by five pioneers and that brings together today 130 families and three generations of winemakers in the southernmost reaches of the northernmost wine-making region of France, Champagne country’s Côte des Bars in the Aude administrative region about 60 miles from Epernay. The Arce Valley is lined with a very specific good earth, specific to the Côte des Bar that was once covered by the sea. Here a dark, unique layer of marl soil is found dating from the late Jurassic period, a soil named Kimmeridgian. Marl is an earthy material, rich in clays and silt imparting a unique quality to the grapes that grow in it.

Chris & Aaron offers free returns on Italy Standard if you purchased the item using PayPal. You must notify us within 14 days of receipt of your order and provide a proof of purchase.

Return items in their original condition. Perishable products cannot be returned (fresh products).

International Returns

Chris & Aaron does not offer free returns on international deliveries. We strongly recommend that you use registered post, recorded delivery or another secure method of delivery, retaining the receipt until you have received credit for your return. We regret that we cannot be held responsible for returned goods that weren't delivered. Once your return has been processed, a refund can take up to 10 days. You will be refunded the same amount that you paid at time of purchase, even if exchange rates have altered since you placed your order.
