Functional substances: BIO extra-virgin olive oil: vegetable oil extracted from the fruits (drupes) of Olea europaea, by double cold pressing. Contains 60-80% oleic acid, 13% linoleic acid. It has a highly emollient, hydrating, soothing, sebum-restoring activity. It represents a valid aid to prevent the appearance of wrinkles and to counteract skin relaxation, increasing the elasticity of the epidermis.
Vitamin E acetate: Vitamin E for topical use is preferably used as acetic ester, more stable to degradation due to oxidative phenomena. This vitamin is now considered a physiological antioxidant and its most important function in the tissues is the prevention and slowing down of the formation of lipoperoxides from polyunsaturated lipids, especially fatty acids, and therefore of the formation of “free radicals”.
Lavender essential oil: the essential oil is obtained from the distillation of the flower, it has soothing, anti-inflammatory, antiseptic and toning properties.
