Whittard Chelsea 1886, Chelsea Garden Tea. English Breakfast became something of a national drink when word got out that Queen Victoria was a fan; Walter Whittard was quick to follow suit, creating his own distinctive blend from a selection of different tea gardens in the West Java region. A Whittard firm favourite for well over a century now, our English Breakfast loose leaf tea is particularly delicious served with a splash of milk to accompany a hearty "full English".

Ingredients: Black tea.

Serving suggestions: breakfast, as the name suggests.

Infuse: 3/5 minutes

Heat water: 98°

Number of serving: using 1 tps / 2g. per cup (ml. 200)

Tasting notes: rich, smooth and robust

Origin: Indonesia. The tea gardens of Java were originally planted by the Dutch in the 1700s. Tea from the region has similar strength and taste to full-bodied Assam, making it perfect for breakfast blends.

Storage conditions: store in a cool, dry place away from strong light and odours. Once opened, store in an airtight container.

Chris & Aaron offers free returns on Italy Standard if you purchased the item using PayPal. You must notify us within 14 days of receipt of your order and provide a proof of purchase.

Return items in their original condition. Perishable products cannot be returned (fresh products).

International Returns

Chris & Aaron does not offer free returns on international deliveries. We strongly recommend that you use registered post, recorded delivery or another secure method of delivery, retaining the receipt until you have received credit for your return. We regret that we cannot be held responsible for returned goods that weren't delivered. Once your return has been processed, a refund can take up to 10 days.
