Bastianich, Vespa Rosso I.G.T. Vespa Rosso is our estate red which balances power and finesse through a combination of indigenous and international varieties. A wine with ripe fruit and a slight new-world flavor profile. The lush palate makes it drinkable upon release, though it is structured enough for ageing.

Region: Buttrio/Premariaccio, Colli Orientali del Friuli DOC.
Grape/blend: 50% Merlot, 30% Refosco, 15% Cabernet Sauvignon, 5% Cabernet Franc.

Aroma: great charm, spicy, balsamic.
Tasting notes: Vespa Rosso is uncommonly fruit- forward and structured for a “cold weather” red wine, and yet it retains many of the spicy, earthy notes that characterize Friulian reds.
Serving suggestions: steaks and braised red meats. Serving 18°C.

Chris & Aaron offers free returns on Italy Standard if you purchased the item using PayPal. You must notify us within 14 days of receipt of your order and provide a proof of purchase.
Return items in their original condition. Perishable products cannot be returned (fresh products).
International Returns
Chris & Aaron does not offer free returns on international deliveries. We strongly recommend that you use registered post, recorded delivery or another secure method of delivery, retaining the receipt until you have received credit for your return. We regret that we cannot be held responsible for returned goods that weren't delivered. Once your return has been processed, a refund can take up to 10 days. You will be refunded the same amount that you paid at time of purchase, even if exchange rates have altered since you placed your order.
