Born in Casale Monferrato in 1878, Krumiri are among the most iconic biscuits of the Piedmontese pastry tradition. Our interpretation remains faithful to the original recipe while enhancing it with dark chocolate delicately coating both ends, creating a perfect balance between refinement and intensity.

Crafted with butter, organic type 0 wheat flour, Ottofile corn flour grown in the countryside of Alessandria, free-range egg yolks and real vanilla bean, our Krumiri preserve the fragrance and character of the traditional recipe. Both ends are delicately coated with extra dark chocolate containing at least 60% cocoa, adding depth and richness without overpowering the buttery flavour and the gentle aroma of vanilla.
The contrast between the biscuit's crisp texture and the smooth chocolate coating creates a refined and harmonious tasting experience in which every ingredient retains its own identity. Perfect with espresso, black tea, dessert wines or simply enjoyed on their own, they offer a sophisticated interpretation of a timeless Piedmontese classic.

Tasting notes

From the very first bite, the rich aroma of butter is complemented by the delicate fragrance of natural vanilla. Ottofile corn flour lends a distinctive character, enhancing both the crisp texture and the refined flavour, creating a biscuit that remains delicate while slowly melting on the palate.

Perfect with fine tea, espresso coffee, traditional zabaglione or dessert wines, they are made to be enjoyed slowly, allowing every ingredient to reveal its full character.

Return items in their original condition. Perishable products cannot be returned (fresh products).

International Returns

Chris & Aaron does not offer free returns on international deliveries. We strongly recommend that you use registered post, recorded delivery or another secure method of delivery, retaining the receipt until you have received credit for your return. We regret that we cannot be held responsible for returned goods that weren't delivered. Once your return has been processed, a refund can take up to 10 days. You will be refunded the same amount that you paid at time of purchase, even if exchange rates have altered since you placed your order.
