Wine type: red wine - Teroldego IGT Dolomiti.
Alcohol content: 12,5°
Region: Trentino Alto Adige, Rovereto, Borghetto all' Adige e Nogaredo - Italy.
Grape/Blend: 100% Teroldego.
Type soil: the soil is poor and rocky, the temperature is ideal in summer (partly due to the micro-climate created by the local wind, the Ora del Garda): vines here still co-exist alongside olive groves. The valley is more open here and the excellent sun exposure allows the grapes to ripen to perfection.
Colour: luminous, rich ruby red, tending to garnet.
Aroma: its rich and unusual bouquet is a faithful expression of Teroldego, with dark fruit preserves generously in evidence.
Tasting notes: the soft textured palate displays full fruit and fine balance between tannins and vanilla impressions, the fruit of sapient ageing in French oak barriques.
Serving suggestions: it is delicious with first courses of pasta and grilled red meats, as well as with aged cheeses and charcuterie.
