Type soil: Tenuta Montemagno lies in gently-rolling hills on the 45th parallel, a latitude that has always been known, right from the earliest centuries, for high-quality wine production. The vineyards south-west aspect, our particular climate and clay- limestone soils, vineyard operations carried out exclusively by hand, and modern wine-making technology-all these factors ensure the production of world-class wines, ambassadors to the world of the best of Italy, Piedmont, and Monferrato.
Colour: brilliant straw-yellow with intense pale-green reflections.
Aroma: intense and leisurely with clear hints of minerals, and of apples and pears. The sensation of gun-flint is particularly intense.
Tasting notes: assertive, soft, warm taste with a pleasant tang. With great structure and a crisp fresh acidity, giving this wine considerable ageing prospects.
Serving suggestions: it pairs well with shellfish and medium strength cheeses. Serve at 10°/12° C.
