Marfuga Trace extra virgin olive oil BIO is obtained through cold extraction of selected olives.
Harvest period: 20 October to 30 November.
Serving suggestions: it is excellent on boiled pasta, grilled meat and vegetables, freshwater fish.
Flavour, taste and aroma: the Frantoio, Leccino e Moraiolo cultivars produce an oil with a green, persistent smell of fresh olives with hints of green almond and artichoke. Its flavour is moderately intense, well-balanced and harmonious.
Editor's note: Oil growing in Umbria, especially in the peculiar context of the Company MARFUGA, has always kept values that go beyond economy and agriculture. The enhancement of the oil represent an operation that, through communication and awareness of both workers and consumers, is connected not just to the quality of the product but to the all system.
