Wine type: sparkling.
Vintage and alcohol content: 2010 - 12,5°
Region: Trentino Alto Adige, Rovereto, Borghetto all' Adige e Nogaredo - Italy.
Grape/Blend: Chardonnay and Pinot nero.
Type soil: the soil is poor and rocky, the temperature is ideal in summer (partly due to the micro-climate created by the local wind, the Ora del Garda): vines here still co-exist alongside olive groves. The valley is more open here and the excellent sun exposure allows the grapes to ripen to perfection.
Colour: is golden and slightly dark, sparkling and lively.
Aroma: on the nose it offers an array of fragrances ranging from bread crust to vanilla tones, over a base of creamy ripe apples and dried fruit
Tasting notes: the palate is full and rounded overall, in which notes of mature fruit are found, re-proposed over an underlying flavour of citrus fruits and spices. A fresh and lively wine, but also full and of solid structure, with an extremely persistent finish, just like its extremely fine perlage.
Serving suggestions: for drinking as the complete accompaniment to an important lunch, or simply to toast a special occasion.
