Wine type: sparkling.
Vintage and alcohol content: 12,5°
Region: Trentino Alto Adige, Rovereto, Borghetto all' Adige e Nogaredo - Italy.
Grape/Blend: Chardonnay and Pinot Noir grapes.
Type soil: the soil is poor and rocky, the temperature is ideal in summer (partly due to the micro-climate created by the local wind, the Ora del Garda): vines here still co-exist alongside olive groves. The valley is more open here and the excellent sun exposure allows the grapes to ripen to perfection.
Colour: a sparkling straw yellow in appearance, it offers a soft, full mousse and a long-lingering bead of the tiniest of bubbles.
Aroma: the bouquet is appealingly refined, redolent of subtle apple and crusted bread.
Tasting notes: its zero-dosage style succeeds in highlighting its delicate scents of fruit, while an incisive, dry palate presents fragrant pear and a lovely acidity.
Serving suggestions: it is wonderful with prosciutto, Parmigiano Reggiano, seafood antipasti, shellfish, sushi and sashimi, but also as a wine to be enjoyed all through a summertime meal.
