Wine type: sparkling.
Vintage and alcohol content: 2013 - 12,5°
Region: Trentino Alto Adige, Rovereto, Borghetto all' Adige e Nogaredo - Italy.
Grape/Blend: Chardonnay.
Type soil: the soil is poor and rocky, the temperature is ideal in summer (partly due to the micro-climate created by the local wind, the Ora del Garda): vines here still co-exist alongside olive groves. The valley is more open here and the excellent sun exposure allows the grapes to ripen to perfection.
Colour: it appears a luminous gold with some depth.
Aroma: the bouquet offers an array of fragrances ranging from crusted bread to hints of vanilla, backgrounded by ripe apple crème and dried nuts.
Tasting notes: the palate is full, nicely rounded, and complex, echoing ripe fruit over subtle citrus and spice. It is a crisp, vibrant sparkling wine, firmly structured, with a near endless finish that is the perfect match to its lingering bead of pin-point bubbles.
Serving suggestions: enjoy as an aperitif wine or with your finest dinner, or simply as a wonderful toast for that special occasion.
