Grape/Blend: The base wine is made with Chardonnay and Pinot Noir grapes, this last vinified in rosè.
Type soil: the soil is poor and rocky, the temperature is ideal in summer (partly due to the micro-climate created by the local wind, the Ora del Garda): vines here still co-exist alongside olive groves. The valley is more open here and the excellent sun exposure allows the grapes to ripen to perfection.
Colour: it has a delicate antique pink and bright colour.
Aroma: intense bouquet, delicate, with dominant notes of red fruits (currants, wild strawberries and raspberries), elegant and smooth.
Tasting notes: on the palate is dry, clean and elegant with delicate hints of sweet almond and aromatic musk, remarkably persistent. The finish is persistent with flavours of tangerine and cherry.
Serving suggestions: suitable from Italian antipasti, soups with mushrooms and vegetables, pasta and risotto, in combination with fresh cheese, not too much seasoned, and salami. Pleasant even with fish starters.
